Together with Asian Pacific Environmental Network, California Environmental Justice Alliance, and Communities for a Better Environment. we’re hosting a free screening of Catching The Sun at the Iron Triangle Theater on September 14th at 7pm.
Filmed in four countries over the last five years, including right here in Richmond, Catching The Sun has the potential to engage new audiences in solutions to climate change and income inequality. This is not a gloom and doom climate change film. It focuses on the human stories of real people who are working towards tangible solutions. Throughout the film, filmmaker Shalini Kantayya builds on a revolutionary idea: That what’s good for the polar bears can also be good for the middle class.
