Foss’s music is like
as lyrical poetry accompanied by guitar melodies, occasional harmonica bellows and an extra-large dose of soul.
She’s a mystical storyteller
with a rich voice and lilting melodies. Some of her work has been called reminiscent of Joni Mitchell’s early work.
The Fancy Dan Band's songs
have been described as bouncy, country-rockabilly sound with some Hank in his voice and some Elvis in his hips.
